Bio/Profile
I found out about barbershop in 2010 and I have loved singing baritone ever since, even though I had never sung with a group before. When I'm not singing, I'm probably at work at Washington University, where I am on the staff of the Earth and Planetary Remote Sensing Laboratory. My job is to collect science data from NASA planetary missions to the Moon, Mars, Venus, and Mercury, make it available online to scientists and the public, and store it safely in a permanent archive. My co-workers are scientists involved in these missions who do fun stuff like driving rovers on Mars. I also like gardening, cooking, reading, theater, and jazz music. I'm married to David Slavney and we have two grown sons, Adam and Matthew.
