St. Louis Vocal Project attended our first Area Convention and Contest in Bloomington, Illinois, June 7-9, 2019. In the chorus contest we were thrilled to be the highest-scoring small chorus (25 or fewer singers) and the third-highest-scoring among all the competing choruses. We sang "The Trolley Song" from the film Meet Me In St. Louis and "I'm In The Mood For Love". 

We were proud of our two quartets, Take 4 and Fierce, who won first and second place respectively in the quartet contest.

We also had our chartering ceremony at the Membership Meeting during the convention, and we sang "Change the World" for the Moonglow on Saturday evening,
